Pirates are not known for their wisdom, but Anton Acorne is a very unusual pirate! He's cunning and is quite the villain. His outfit might trick you into thinking he's a chill guy, but you should never trust his "good vibes".

Role: Attacker

Overview

Anton Acorne is an outclassed Attacker with decent speed and strength. He deals decent amount of damage while also applying some additional effects like Freeze, Stun, regaining Stamina, and removing enemy Stamina.

Pros:

  • Solid power and speed
  • Mostly low cooldowns
  • Access to Stun and Freeze
  • Many Stamina drain and Stamina regain moves

Cons:

  • Bad life and damage output
  • Average trait
  • Horrible relic slots
  • Moderate to high stamina costs
  • Both AoE moves have 4 CD

Recommended Moveset

No One Dies in One Piece

  • Aqua Stomp / Impure Water (Stomp for AoE 35 Special dmg + 50% Stamina Remove, 36s, 4 CD) / (Impure for AoE 35 Water dmg + Stamina Leak, 36s, 4 CD)
  • Humid Sword / Aqua Sword (50 Water dmg + Self 50% Stamina Restore, 30s, 1 CD) / (50 Water dmg + Self Stamina Regeneration, 28s, 2 CD)
  • Punch Wave (50 Water dmg + Freeze, 29s, 1 CD)
  • 100 Tentacles (50 Special dmg + Stun, 30s, 1 CD)

Recommended Runes: 2 Speed, 1 Strength; 3 Speed

Counters

  • Anton has really low health, so any strong Thunder attacker (like Toshiro) can make Calamari out of him.
  • Monsters that give Stamina Regeneration or regain, like Frosilka and Hydratila the Icebringer, can ruin his primary gimmick.
  • Monsters with the Mountain trait or Control Immunity, and little to no stamina costs can bypass Anton's forms to deny.
  • He is easily denied by anything other than Freeze.

Fun Facts

  • His design is a reference to Arlong from One Piece.
  • Anton Acorne is breedable by using these monsters: Nautilus-1 + Avaast
