The general of the Light troops. He guides his monster teams with wisdom, but he also has a strong hand. It is said that when General Ingvar shines his blinding light on his enemies, they never recover completely.

Role: Support

Overview

General Ingvar is a decent Support monster who can spread both positive and negative effects. His Trait is nice, and having access to team NER is quite handy. Unfortunately, his stats and cooldowns are terrible, holding him back from being a truly good monster.

Pros:

  • Decent trait
  • Can apply annoying effects like Daze, Blind, and two different Weaknesses
  • Great support skill in Encouragement
  • Decent relic slots
  • Low stamina costs
  • Spammable NER

Cons:

  • Awful stats
  • High cooldowns
  • Most damaging moves are AoE, making him weak to Dodge Area
  • Discouragement has a nasty 4 CD

Recommended Moveset

Light Lord

  • Discouragement (AoE 20 Special dmg + Light Weakness + Special Weakness, 32s, 4 CD)
  • Encouragement (Team NER + Regeneration + Stamina Regeneration, 26s, 3 CD)
  • Dazing Wings (AoE 35 Light dmg + Daze, 29s, 2 CD)
  • Blinding Wings (AoE 35 Light dmg + Blind, 29s, 2 CD)

Recommended Runes: 3 Team Speed

Counters

  • Many Metal attackers do a great job at taking him down due to his low life stat.
  • Any monsters that can NER and PER are great against him, like Goldfield.
  • CDA monsters can potentially keep him out of the battle for extended periods of time due to Ingvar's large cooldowns. Monsters like Al Canine exceptionally good at this.
