This monster has been known as The Keeper ever since the First Masters put him in charge of all their Books. He lives to defend the Library and all the precious wisdom held inside it. If anyone knows the history of Monster Legends, it's The Keeper.

Overview

The Keeper was once notoriously hard to obtain, and in no way was he worth it. His stats are awful, he only has one AoE status effect skill, which wasn't really useful by itself, and his cooldowns are miserably high. His only upsides are his stun skills, Team Skill Mirror, which has an ungodly 4-turn cooldown, and his amazing Bulwark trait. Overall, though, he's really only a good option if you have absolutely nothing else.

Pros:

  • AoE Magic and Metal Weakness
  • Team Skill Mirror
  • Fantastic trait

Cons:

  • Poor stats
  • Inflicts no other AoE status effects besides Magic Weakness and Metal Weakness
  • Large cooldowns for his best moves

Recommended Moveset

Can we talk about his oversized armor?

  • Knowledge is Power (Team Skill Mirror, 26s, 4 CD)
  • Keep Quiet (45 Special dmg + Stun, 28s, 1 CD)
  • Alexandria Curse (AoE 35 Magic dmg + Magic Weakness + Metal Weakness, 35s, 3 CD)
  • Silence In My Library / Your Book (Silence for 55 Magic dmg + Stun, 31s, 3 CD) / (Book for 70 Special dmg, 28s, 2 CD)

Recommended Runes: 3 Team Speed

Counters

  • The Keeper's low Life means Nature monsters like Borjork can take him down easily.
  • Trait Disablers such as Ingenica can remove his amazing trait. Ingenica also has PER and NER to remove all his effects.
  • His only form of denial is Stun, which is useless against monsters with Stun Immunity.
