Xiron the Ruby
Rank: S
Power: 3,377
Life: 35,558
Speed: 3,509
Trait: Nemesis - Xiron

Xiron the Ruby is the most recent Nemesis Monster released as of now, which means he costs cash money.

Xiron the Ruby has one of the fastest Speeds in the entire game, making him the best Denier in the game, due to having 7, I repeat SEVEN Guaranteed deny skills (not including Stardust)

Ruby Explosion and Implosion, Laying Odds, High Wage, Total Exhaustion and Mineral Blood, 2 of those are AOEs, but wait, what about the 7th Skill? Well, the 7th skill is Control Dice, the Wiki says 50% but it's actually 100%, 3 AOE Deny Skills is actually stupid and the only thing better than this is Samael the Plague Carrier (disputable though)

  • Multiple AOE Deny Skills
  • Fast
  • Really tanky for a denier
  • Ruby Explosion/Implosion have a 75% chance to immobilize Monsters with the trait Bulwark
  • Stardust combines 2 Moves that at one point defined the Metagame in Monster Legends (Stamina Devourers + CDs Activated)

  • Jesus those cooldowns
  • High Stamina Costs on his best moves
  • Best moves are Skill Group 4, meaning you need to rank up Xiron to obtain them
  • Meh trait for a nemesis (Immune to possession and 30% chance of missed status effects)

  • Ruby Explosion
  • Laying Odds
  • Control Dice
  • Ruby Implosion/Mineral Blood (Ruby Explosion is recommended over Mineral Blood, however Mineral Blood is worthy of a mention for being viable)

Deny the entire enemy team for 2 turns (if you're lucky you could deny them for 3 or 4 turns), this is probably the best Monster on Defense and in attack.

Game Machine Broke

  • Ruby Explosion
  • Laying Odds
  • Total Exaughtion
  • Mineral Blood

Every move is a denial move here, usually used when you don't want to risk it with Control Dice

How does one counter Xiron the Ruby?

Your really best bet is Timerion, as every single one of her good moves have MASSIVE cooldowns. Sure, they still might be able to get a Control Dice in, but Timerion is an artifact- so no denying moves for him. Your other artifact, Flamerion will most likely kill Xirion really quickly. And mind you, if she does a "Mineral Blood" on them, they have a restore cooldowns on them, so they're fine. Tankerion is a bit worse, as he really can't do much to Xirion besides mega stun her (With a 65% chance of that) which is REALLY USEFUL but risky, and he can help out his allies tremendously.

Captain Copperbeard is also a really good opponent, as he can do 70 base damage and bleed, along with aoe stun and removing cooldowns for that "Mineral Blood". And also, he has the "Mountain" Trait which makes him immune to 1/3 of Xiron's denying (A good feature).

Anybody that takes away stamina can also get the job done, especially General Thetys, as they can remove everyone's stamina and have the bulwark trait- making her less liable to getting denied.

Bo Tai and Caillech are great monsters to use as Bo Tai can make allies immune to 4/5 denying moves and Caillech can make them immune to 3/5. Caillech also can try to deny Xiron at the same time while Bo Tai can remove negative effects in case of Mega Stun and restore cooldowns.

Book AnalysisModifier

Good Legions

His only competition in that book is Kihaku and 115 Scrap Warrior

  • Viability Rank: SS (10/10)
  • Effectiveness: 10/10
  • Comparison to Competition: 10/10

Xiron faces stiff competition from Samael the Plague Carrier/Samael the Fever Scatterer and Llum the Magical Matriarch, his Magical Speed allows him to tie with the aforementioned Llum the Magical Matriarch and outspeed the likes of Samael, Baba Yaga, Montauk Creature, Uru, Tempest and Glitch, all good options in the Spirits Book, however, there are many monsters with Immunity to Control Effects, a few monsters with Tough, a few with Hardened and Sammy and Llum have Bulwark.
